• How does Sky HD Work?
The TV you watch at home is broadcast using a format called PAL. A PAL picture displays 576 visible rows of pixels on the screen whilst High Definition uses 720 lines scanned progressively or 1080 lines with interlaced scanning meaning that more than four times the number of pixels are used to create the picture, giving you much more detail than previously seen on television.

• How can I experience Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound with HD?
To experience the Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound you'll need to hook your HD box up to a 6 speaker Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound system, these are simple to install and available at most electrical retailers. Don't worry if you don't have one as you'll still experience the amazing picture quality but with stereo sound.
